Which one do you think is better?

    Top one.

    (aaargh! not st cuthberts! hate the place! spent a large portion of my life in there, it’s not fun!)

    Yes the top one. I prefer the pews in the second one and the sense of distance but the plain, boring walls on either side ruin it :p soz

    the 1st one is better in my opinion, hard to explain but the altar seems much more imposing in it
