While Our Guitars Gently Weep

This is one of my first protraits which weren’t done spontaneously, and I think they work quite well. Extreme grainnes and high contrast add the feeling of that really dull and rainy day. Read More…, it’s worth it. And no, I don’t smoke.

No offence to neill but I think the one of reiss is better :P I just love how dark it is!
Actually, I too prefer the ‘look and feel’ of Reiss’s one more. I really like the smoke that you’ve got going there.
1) Reiss,
2) Neill 1,
3) Neill 2.
>Better Alex
I like Reiss’s one as well, but I think I made it too dark—you can’t really see his hair, although it might be better this way.

Thank you) I think I’m gonna do more portraits now, but it’s a difficult experience for me (I somehow don’t like to take pictures of people). That time I was perhaps in my portrait mood, heh.

the one’s of me dont have the contrast and symettry of reiss’s one so i agree that reiss’s looks better
wow that was a good day…the weather was a blessing in disguise :P now lets do some this fri!!!
Actually, just to be different I think the first one of Neill is better. I like the asymmetry and the light.
Neill and Reiss need to be in a band now, to make good use of these iconic photos :P
>>I realised way after I posted them that Neill’s eyes on the last photo are pitch-black — quite creepy. You are right about band, but they would have to play something heavy for that kind of photos }:].
Greg
thank you frank and we are in a band
