Modern Moscow — 4 0

Just a sunset, nice acid colours. Same place from the first photo. Passing cars 50 metres below, flashing light of the twilight city, pale sun’s light and a warm breeze. Plans for tomorrow…

Modern Moscow — 3 0

Experimenting with portraits, I decided to post the one of Alex (yeah, that’s him from all the previous posts).  He is my old friend from School ?17 and he still lives Moscow and now goes to MSU. With this portrait, I tried avoiding black and white version  and getting as close to normal colours as possible. Hopefully, it worked.

Modern Moscow — 2 “Welcome to the Jungle” 1

Another part of Moscow, again pretty green and—guess what—this is the view from my Moscow’s flat. This time it’s no HDR (I will make more of them later), but another panorama. I think it’s a better way of showing places to people on photos. Although, I must say, 360° in my opinion are awful—it’s hard to get your head round a 360° image, there’s no “behind” objects.

I decided to post most of my photos from my trip to Moscow this year, mostly landscapes, panoramas, still lives and portraits of friends. Right now I post this panoramic view from Alex’s (my friend) house—that’s a view on one of the greenest parts of Moscow, Belyaevo. It was quite late, so I decided to make an HDR out of it (sorry for the quality, that’s my first attempt to make a HDR image and I’ve used only one photo for it). Nevertheless, I think it’s a good view on evening Moscow.

P.S. Actually, Alex lives in a 26-floor house and we had to get on the roof (top level, climbing through closed windows and doors, sometimes on open air). Wind, sun and graffiti—I don’t remember last time I had so much adrenaline.

Flowers 1

I just though some flowers would add colour to my blog. This cute pair was in my friend’s garden, it was quite rainy but it didn’t stop my friend from taking that shot (I only retouched it afterwards).

Moonlight Sonata (Nils) 3

Hey, I like portraits now—there probable going to be more and more f my friends, perhaps me as well.  Do you think I should do ligher photos? Just interested.

By the way the photo was taken when Nils was playing Moonlight Sonata so I tried to convey the atmosphere, mood, perhaps. Anyway, enjoy.

If you read more, there is a colour photo with a completely different impression and a really blurred one, which is my favourite—I think it’s the only one (out of about 60 taken overall) that actually captures that Moonlight Sonata on piano mood that I loved so much. I really want to hear which one you liked the most—comments are waiting for you :)
